As we join together to manage our new realities in the midst of COVID-19, Partnership for Children sends all of you thoughts of good health, and a hope for finding unexpected forms of joy. Maybe more quiet time—or if you are home with your children, maybe creative new ways to engage with one another?
We also know this can be an anxiety producing time. Most of the children and families with whom we work through our Mental Health Center have switched to telehealth for individual and family therapy. It may sound difficult or off-putting; however, we are finding that both adults and children are finding it a positive and helpful experience. If you or someone in your home would benefit from therapy, we are here to help! Give us a call, (406) 543-5531, and we will get back to you to set something up.
We are working hard to keep the children living in our Gallagher and Missoula Sunrise Children’s Homes safe. Our dedicated staff is busy “home schooling,” organizing creative activities, and getting the children outside to exercise and play. A thoughtful donor bought MacKenzie River Pizza for the children last week and a local family purchased art supplies for the Children’s Homes. We are grateful for a community that supports our local businesses and our children!
Finally, the Partnership for Children office is restricting our office hours to mitigate physical exposure between staff and others, but we will check messages several times a day and will return your calls within 24 hours.
