Since 1998, Partnership for Children has introduced safe, predictable, nurturing adults into the lives of children who have suffered – through no fault of their own –from a chronic lack of care or significant early childhood trauma. These kids range in age from 1 to 14 years old and arrive at our door from all ethnic, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds. Although young in years, the children we serve live every day under the weight of adult-sized worries from having experienced early childhood trauma, including abuse, neglect, exposure to drugs and alcohol, homelessness and more.
We provide relationship-based care to create a sense of security, connection, and belonging for children and their families.
We work with children who have experienced significant early childhood trauma. Our relational developmental treatment approach is based on the belief that healing and growth for children comes through healthy, trusting adult/child relationships.
